The creator economy has grown into a $250B+ industry - but there has been no way for agencies, brands, or creators to distinguish between a qualified talent manager and someone who watched a few YouTube videos and printed business cards. Hiring decisions are based on self-reported experience, personal networks, and interviews - with no independent standard to verify actual competency.
CTD™ holders have been assessed against a published competency standard covering all core areas of creator talent management.
Certification requires passing phase gates and a capstone project - not just watching lectures or completing quizzes.
All credential holders are bound by an 8-article code of professional ethics. Violations result in revocation of the credential.
Every CTD™ is numbered and publicly verifiable through The National Talent Board™'s verification database.
Credential renewal every 2 years requires 20 continuing education hours, ensuring holders stay current with industry practice.
Organizations that require or prefer CTD™ holders may apply for recognition as a CTD™ Preferred Employer.
